California's ALL SHALL PERISH Help Bring Christmas To Florida Teens
November 8, 2006A few days after the last show on their current 32-city tour with ARSIS and THE FACELESS, Oakland's ALL SHALL PERISH will fly across the country to co-headline the second annual Teens For Teens benefit concert at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Coral, Florida.
To help raise money for holiday gifts for teens currently living in foster care, the night will feature a heavy metal/hardcore concert showcasing performances by national headliners and local teens. In addition to ALL SHALL PERISH, the evening's co-headliner will be WITH FAITH OR FLAMES. The five local bands are: KINGS CONQUER, DEMISE OF ALL REASON, G.M.B., WITNESS TO A MURDER and SEIZE THE EMPIRE. Admission is $11.00 pre-sale or $15.00 at the door.
ASP drummer Matt Kuykendall shares his thoughts on the event: "This type of show is the ultimate pay off for playing music. Being able to help people in need by just rockin' out at a great show is an unbeliveable feeling. Music, especially metal, means so much to so many people, but to have it put gifts in the hands of kids in foster care during the holidays... it's an honor."
Kathleen Scott, coordinator of the event, states: "We are very eager to help teenagers who have been removed from their biological families due to abuse or neglect. Proceeds from this benefit will go to the Children's Network of Southwest Florida, who oversees the foster care and adoption services throughout a five county area."
This event is sponsored by Grace United Methodist Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, One Ministries, Crush The Weaklings, Pepsi Co., North Ft. Myers Papa Johns, Subway, and Altair Industries.
